1 How to Apply for AISSEE 2025

To apply for the AISSEE 2025, candidates must complete the process online through the official website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/. Here are the steps to ensure a smooth and successful application:

1. Read the Information Bulletin Thoroughly:

   • Ensure you meet all eligibility criteria before starting the application process.

2. Review Tentative Vacancies:

   • Check Appendix VI in the Information Bulletin for tentative vacancies across Sainik Schools.
   • Note that vacancies in specific categories may arise later due to withdrawals. Even if a specific category shows no vacancy, you may still apply under the General category. However, admission is not guaranteed in the initially chosen category.

3. Prepare Required Documents and Details:

   • Keep ready:
     • Scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression.
     • Birth certificate issued by competent authorities.
     • School, domicile, caste, and service certificates (if applicable).
     • A valid ID proof.
     • Payment tools like credit/debit card or net banking details.
     • Mobile phone and email address for OTP verification.

1.2 Step I: Registration Page

Provide accurate details from your school records for:

• Name of Candidate, Mother, and Father: Ensure they match school records.
• Date of Birth: Use the dd/mm/yyyy format as recorded in official documents.
• Identification Type: Options include School ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar (last 4 digits), Passport, or any Government-issued ID.
• Mobile Number and Email Address: These must be verified via OTP for creating online credentials.
• Address: Provide a complete postal address for correspondence.

1.3 Step II: Complete the Application Form

• Application particulars can be edited before the final submission except for mobile number and email address.
• Candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) must refer to the Central List of OBC available on the NCBC website (www.ncbc.nic.in). Candidates from State/UT OBC lists not in the Central List should choose "General."

1.4 Choice of Schools and Exam Cities

1. Choice of Schools: Refer to Chapter 2 of the Information Bulletin for guidance.

2. Choice of Examination Cities:

   • Select up to four cities as your preferred examination centers (Appendix IV).
   • The selected cities do not need to correspond with the state of the Sainik School chosen.
   • Exam centers are allocated by computer; changes are not allowed post-selection.

1.6 Uploading Scanned Documents

1. Photograph:

   • Size: 10 KB to 200 KB (JPG format).
   • Must show 80% face coverage, ears visible, no cap or goggles.
   • Taken on or after 1st July 2024, preferably with the candidate’s name and date displayed.

2. Signature:

   • Full signature in running handwriting (black ink on white paper).
   • Size: 4 KB to 30 KB (JPG format).

3. Left-hand Thumb Impression:

   • Blue ink on white paper.
   • Size: 10 KB to 50 KB (JPG format).

4. Other Certificates:

   • Domicile, caste, service certificates, and birth certificate (as applicable).
   • Format: PDF, size 50 KB to 300 KB.

1.7 Payment of Fees and Confirmation

• Fees can be paid via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
• After payment, ensure the Confirmation Page is generated. This page is proof of successful submission.
• If the payment status is not "OK," retry the payment process.

2 Checklist for Submission

Before final submission, ensure:

• Eligibility criteria are met.
• Correct name, address, date of birth, and category are provided.
• Preferred school, class, and exam cities are accurately selected.
• A printout of the Confirmation Page is retained.
