Travel Allowance

Candidates attending their first SSB interview for a specific commission are eligible for reimbursement of travel expenses. They must fulfill certain conditions and provide necessary documentation.

Candidates should inform the board of any address changes well in advance. They must submit a hard copy of their transportation ticket for reimbursement. The reimbursement is applicable for various modes of transportation, and candidates should have a canceled check for direct payment to their bank accounts. Additionally, candidates are advised to carry twenty passport-sized photographs taken in light clothing against a white backdrop.
