Documents Required For SSB Interview
It's beneficial to prepare a few documents in advance if you're attending an SSB interview. Nowadays, candidates have the option to complete their SSB documents well ahead of time, which helps save time during the document check and form filling process at the SSB interview. The list of documents to bring for the SSB interview includes the PIQ form, Identification form, certificate of previous candidature, risk certificate, traveling allowance form, and certificate for final and pre-final candidates, among others.
Documents Checklist for SSB Interview
Preparing a set of documents beforehand is advisable for those attending the SSB interview. By completing the SSB documents well in advance, candidates can save time during the document check and form filling process.
The following is a list of documents to carry for the SSB interview:
- Call Letter
- Original and 2 Photocopies of 10th/12th Mark sheet & Certificate
- Graduation/Post Graduation Degree (final year students must bring a certificate from the principal)
- NCC Certificate (Original & Photocopy) (If applicable)
- Valid Commercial Pilot's License issued by DGCA (If applicable)
- Original Ticket (for Traveling Allowance if it's your first time for that entry)
- Original Identity Proof (Voter ID/Passport/DL/PAN Card) and 2 Photocopies
- NOC Certificate (for those currently employed in Government Organizations or PSUs)
- Risk Certificate duly signed by parent/guardian
- 20 Passport Size Colour Photographs (with light-colored clothes and against a white background)
Documents to be filled before the SSB Interview:
PIQ Form (Personal Information Questionnaire): This form collects basic details such as Name, Address, Family Members, Education, Hobbies, Achievements, etc. It's crucial as interview questions will be based on the information provided in this form.

Certification of Previous Candidature Form: Provides details about previous SSB interview attempts, including batch number, SSB number, place, chest number, etc.
Risk Certificate: Declares that you are attending the SSB interview at your own risk, and neither you nor your Parents/Guardian shall be entitled to claim any compensation.

Travelling Allowance Form: To be filled by all freshers and repeater candidates eligible for SSB Interview traveling allowance. It should be attached with the original printout of tickets.
